Thomas Crooks, who has the refreshment privileges at Woodbine, donated his whole outfit for the use of the Red Cross, which was much appreciated by the ladies in charge. The Plate race was worth ,540 to the winner. Jockey Mink was made a presentation of 00. After staking the others connected with the training of the colt and paving his expenses on his trip.
