June 5. — The Westchester Bacing Association has provided some attractive racing for . the final week of its spring meeting at Belmont Park. Mondays six.rt will be confined to overnight races, with two handicaps and a steeplechase as the outstanding features. The Harlem Stakes at one mile, with a guaranteed value of ,000. is the chief attraction for Tuesday. A large field of good second-raters will undoubtedly start in this event. On Wednesday the valuable Keene Memorial Stakes, for two-year-olds, with a guaranteed value of ,000. is sure to bring out a big crowd to see the stars of the juvenile division struggle for the rich prize. The Keene Memorial closed with one hundred and fifty entries and. with an entrance fee of 0 each", the stake is already worth ,500. When, the starting fee of BM each is added to that sum. it means that the winners share will l e close to . KM. The Grand Natiom.l Steeplechase Handicap is the offering for Thursday, while overnight races make up Fridays card. For the closing day of the meeting. Saturday.
