EMPIRE CITY TRACK SPICK AND SPAN New York July 11 The Empire City track has been all brushed up for the opening there Saturday Extensive improvements have been made and the track proper is in perfect condition Several stables will be shipped to Empire City from Latonia prior to their going to Saratoga Accommodations already are almost at a premium which insures an abun ¬ dance of horses Barely five per cent of the eastern stables will leave for Saratoga before the end of the Empire City meeting Railroad accommodations and trolley line service will be about the same as in previous years
