LAST YEARLING SALE OF THE YEAR A feature of the fall meetings at Lexington is the sale of yearlings horses in training mares etc held by the Kentucky Sales Co The sale this year will include about 100 yearlings the get of practically every prominent sire in America and the dispersal of two prominent deceased breeders Milton Young and W F Schulte Both of these were breeders of prominence ami success and the en ¬ tire interests if their estate will be disposed of at this sale which is scheduled for September 17 and 18 18The The repeal of the rule placing a ban on the racing of twoyearolds before the first of April and the announcement by the New Orleans manage ¬ ment that races for twoyearolds will be pro ¬ grammed daily places owners in a position to buy yearlings and win them out before expenses have accumulated to any great extent and it is expected that there will be keen competition for many of the yearlings now left in Kentucky especially as this is the last opportunity to secure material for the com ¬ ing season as twoyearolds Particulars of the sale will be found elsewhere in ils edition of Dailv Racing Form
