RACING STABLES TO BE AUCTIONED Horses Belonging to Emil Herz and Edward Arling ¬ ton Will Be Sold at Empire City Friday FridayNew New York October 23 The racing stables of Emil Herz and Edward Arlington will be sold at auction by the FasigTipton Company in the Empire City paddock on Friday afternoon October 25 All of the horses to be disposed of are in training and most of them have been good winners during the 1918 season In the Herz string are Manister Toi Daddys Choice Matin Nelle Yorke Clare Boothe Eddie McBride and Marion Adler The Arlington lot includes the consistent winner KohiNoor and St Isidore in the older division and the promis ¬ ing twoyearolds Questionnaire Apple Jack II and Toombeola ToombeolaIn In addition to the HerzArlington consignment a number of horses from other establishments will be sold They include The Banshee II Pickwick Peter Teresa J Intriguer TIios F McMahon As ¬ sign War Idol War Plume and James Jr With the outlook for winter racing in Havana and New Orleans decidedly bright more than ordinarily good prices are looked for
