KOHINOOR IS A SPEEDY FILLY Has Won Sir Out of Last Seven Starts and Is at Her Best Eight Now The fleet filly KohiNoor is to be offered for sale with the other horses comprising the stable of Edward Arlington which will be sold at auction Friday at Empire City That she will bring a good price seems certain in view of her brilliant racing over the New York tracks during the autumn season KohiNoor liegan her fall campaign at Eelmont Park by running second to the Fair Play filly Right in a dash of a mile in which the Arlington filly led to the stretch where she suddenly tired seem ¬ ingly being a trifle short shortSince Since thaf race KohiNoor has won six out of seven races finishing second on the occasion she was beaten Her first victory was at Aqueduct on September 19 in a mile race in which she turned the tables on the filly Right beating her by six lengths and running the mile in 138 On the opening day 0 the Jamaica meeting she was re ¬ turned winner over Matinee Idol in a mile and seventy yards race displaying remarkable gameness to get a nose decision after apparently being beaten in the stretch stretchThen Then came a hollow victory over Jack Mount Umbala Poacher and Oenone at the same track KohiNoor cantering home ten lengths in advance of her nearest opponent A few days later she re ¬ peated by ranning away from Harwood II and Jack Mount and establishing a new track record for a mile and seventy yards running the distance in i43 = i iMoving Moving over to Empire City KohiNoor went to the post in the Fordham Selling Stakes a well backed favorite but here she met defeat the English bred Smidridge gelding Minto II taking her meas jfiKTin decisive fashion although the Arlington filly was a game contender throughout and had no oppo ¬ sition for place honors honorsHer Her next start at Empire City was last Sat urday when she ran away from Air Man Hondo arid Kingfisher and them came back Tuesday dupli bating her performance of Saturday her victims on this occasion being Emil Herz Manister Toi and iVfrican Arrow Manister Toi was backed to beat the Arlington filly but never had a chance being outrun throughout KohiNoor leading by a wide margin from start to finish never fully extended extendedConsidering Considering that KohiNoor is not entirely sound she is a speed marvel and right at the present wellnigh invincible
