JOCKEY AGENT RULE MEETS FAVOR Baltimore Md November 28 The modification of the association jockey agent rule which gov ¬ erned during a part of the last New Orleans season when all riders except those under written contract were compelled to accept the engagements made for them by the associations designated agent has found favor among the horsemen who intend racing at the southern citv It will also have the effect of attracting several of the heavyweight riders who prefer to make their few engagements because of the light scale that the condition books dic ¬ tate During the winter season it will be necessary for riders to attach themselves to some recognized stable if they wish to have mounts solicited for them s the oldtime jockey agent lias been tabooed by Judge Murphy and his associates
