NEW AUSTRALIAN JUMPING MARK At Bendigo Australia October 10 Mrs A Judds Sundown ridden by It Doctor cleared 7 feet G4 inches and made a fresh highjumping record for Australia There were six sompetitors and Peter Thumbs Up and Sundown all got over 7 feet Peter missed at 7 feet 4 inches and though that wonder ¬ ful pony Thumbs Up had a fall at one of his efforts at that height he subsequently got over At 7 feet Si inches Thumbs Up refused to rise riseand and Doctor who rode him as well as the winner was tossed through the rails Sundown knocked the rail down at his first try but at his second I secondI got over though ho just touched
