GOOD FILLY MARY MAUD TO BE RETIRED Will later Be Sent to Robert Waldens Bowling Brook Farm and Bred to Transvaal TransvaalBALTIMORE BALTIMORE Md December 5 C E Clement who is organizing a breeding establishment at his beautiful but outrageously misnamed Bareacrcs which is in the Green Spring Aalley has decided not to attempt to train his onetime good filly Mary Maud next year Mary Maud is through with racing Next spring she is to go to Robert Wai dens Bowling Brook Farm which is in Carroll County Maryland to be mated with Transvaal the sire of King Gorin and Boniface BonifaceNor Nor is Mary Maud the only mare Mr Clement will breed to Transvaal AAith her Merriment II a daughter of Sundriilge Marion Hood and Princess Caprice a daughter of Marco Royal Mirriagc she a daughter of Royal Hampton will go to Trans ¬ vaals court These three mares with Frizeiir for the present constitute the breeding establishment of Mr Clement who has wisely refrained from possessing himself of a stallion all his own He has no place for a stallion yet nor has he enough mares to make keeping one at Bareacres worth while
