TO ARRANGE SALE OF LEXINGTON TRACK LEXINGTON, Ky., February 10. The directors of the Kentucky Association, at a meeting today, called a stockholders meeting for February 25. at which will be completed the negotiations for the sale of the stock of the Kentucky Association to Thomas A. Combs and others for the Kentucky Jockey Club, which now is in process of organization. Willis Sharpc Kilmer today instructed Harry Mor-rUsev to ship the foreign-bred stallion Assagai back Jm Briar Court, Binghamton, New York, where he Is to le mated with a number of Mr.. Kilmers best mares. John I. Smith today engaged stable room at the Kentucky Association track for the H. H. Hewitt string of ten, which are to come in from Forkland Farm next Saturday. A magnificent bay colt, by The Manager Star Jasmine, was f,aled Sunday morning at Thomas McDowells Ashland Stud. This is the second foal of the season there, the other being a chestnut filly by The Manager Applause.
