Sturgis and William Woodward. The amended scale of weights was unanimously adopted. The following amendment of Rule. 110 was adopted: "No gelding three, years old and upward slinll be qualified to start in any nice closing seventy-two hours .or more before the date of running, except handicaps and selling races. The approval of the stewards of the Jockey Club was, granted. tlieljnited .Hunts Racjng Association to cdnduct a race meetiilg at Belmont Park Terminal on .May 17 and May 21. The approval of the stewards of the Jockey Club was granted the Southern Maryland Racing Association of Bowie, Maryland, to conduct a race meeting April 1 to 15, .the Harford Agricultural and Breeders" Association of Hitvre de Grace "Maryland, from April It! to 30, and the Maryland Jockey Club from May 1 to 17. Jockeys mid. trainers licenses were granted as recommended by the license committee, aud. tlie application of John-Loftus, Lawrence Lyko and E. Forehand for jockey licenses were laid upon the table, not granted.
