OLGA STAR RETIRED TO THE STUD The good race mare Olga Star lias been retired t the stud. John A. Payne, general agent of the Hartford Live Stock Insurance Co. of Cincinnati, urchased the mare last November from L. II. JHckiuson and she is now at Military Farm, where lie will be bred to Jim Gaffney. Olga Star was a popular racer during her career on Hie turf and iiihl prove a success as a stud matron. She is iow nine years old and retires witli a good record, iie was not raced as a two-year-old, nor did much s a three-year-old. starting but three times with- ut winning. Her best year was in 11117, when she on ten races out of forty-one starts.
