The defeat of seven favorites during Hie afternoon was attended witli vast benefit for Hie layers. HOT SPRINGS OPENS MARCH 15. Joseph E. Martin, general manager of Hie Oak-lawn track in Hot Springs, was among the arrivals and will make known in Hie next few days the complete plans of the Hot Springs meeting. The racing will be of thirty days duration and will begin March 14 or 15. The same officials who served last year, embracing Frank Nelson. J. J5. Campbell, A. B. Dade. Wash Norvell.
