REGARDING THE PRICES OF. GRACE On February 18 Williams Bros. fillv Grace Avon the third Havana race at the long" prices of 15 to 1 straight, 0 to 1 place and 3 to 1 show. Subsequently it has been alleged locally that the prices quoteU were incorrect and much too high. To settle the. matter beyond controversy presiding steward C. J. Fitz Gerald was asked to inquire into the matter, and as a resnlt telegraphed this newspaper yesterday: "Grace opened and dosed fifteen, six and three. "FITZ GERALD."
