FASTEST TWOYEAROLD IN KENTUCKY LKXINGTON Ky Miirch 1C The fastest two yearold thus far shown in Kentucky is Sam Fried ¬ man the bay colt by the French stallion Pataud dam Femesoie a stake winner and dam of the stake winner Anytime and the winners Yanker and Archie Alexander by Sir Dixon He was bought by Carr Piatt last year from John K Madden for 3 0 and sold by them to C H Knebelkamp for Oscar K Rhenis of Louisville for 525 The colt made n peculiar noise when at exercise and a Louisville veterinary pronounced him windbroken some time after the sale Messrs Carr Piatt upon receipt of this statement though they were not obligated in the matter presented Rhems with the brown filly by Rock View Princess Pat half sister to Chalmers Rhems in turn gave the Pataud colt to Joe Umeusetter He continued fo maki the noise which now appears ito be a nasal affection but when he develoiKnl a surprising ability to run fast Rhems gave Uniensetter 200 for a half interest He has since worked threeeighths at Douglas Park in 31 ana is now priced at 10000
