MISS DAINGERFIELD CONSIDERS MOVING NEW YORK N Y March 21 Miss Elizabeth Daingerfield has been visiting New York and Vir1 ginia looking over the horses and farms She ha an idea of moving to Virginia if a suitable breeding establishment can be procured She was iuuchinteri ested in the horses at Belmont Park aiid predicted that some of the younger element were desirable additions to the racing ranks ranksAlgernon Algernon Daiugerfield assistant secretary of the Jockey Club has been in Virginia for a day or two In conversation with such noted trainers and owners as W I Burch AVilliam Garth Samuel J Ross and Edward S McLean they were unani ¬ mous in their opinion regarding the condition of tho horses trained in that district Mr Burch says they aro at least three weeks in advance of the season intimating that he had horses ready to race the first day of the Maryland campaign campaignJudge Judge Joseph Murphys suggestion to the Jockey Club to consider the abolition of blinkers on twn yearolds was not approved at the recent nie ting of the Jockey Club and no action was taken ort the question questionF F K Sturgis vicechairman of the Jockey Club submitted a letter to some of the stewards from Major Robert L Gerry drafting a prpposed inter ¬ national race A copy of the letter was sent to all stewards for their opinion on such an event Joseph McLennan has been appointed one of the judges at Havre de Grace He1 will also fulfill the duties of scale clerk
