S H VELIES TWO FINE YEARLINGS LEXINGTON Ky Marcli 21 Rush McCoy of Kansas City malinger of S II Velies thoroughbred horse interests was among the visitors to Lex ¬ ington this week His mission was to see his em ¬ ployers two yearlings five brood mares and two foals at the farm of Messrs Carr Piatt He found them all in excellent condition and departed saying that lie would come to lyexingtou in August to take up the two yearlings both bay fillies for training One of tlie fillies is by Fair Play Florin the other Is by Harrigaii Lady Hildretli by Golden Garter Lady Hildretli was mated with Yankee last year and is the only one of the Velie mares that will not produce this year Star Berta has a chestnut filly by Ballot and Lady Teresa a bay filly by Delhi Marion Rose II is in foal to Delhi and Blue Cap to Vulcain
