TOO COLD FOR TRAINING AT LEXINGTON LEXIXGTOX Ky March 31 Ther was noth ¬ ing of interest in the work of horses exercising at the Kentucky Association course today The weather was cold and with snow flurries and the horses looked considerably crimped by the sudden change The trainers did not tarry long in the open places by the fire being in strong demand demandMessrs Messrs Frederick Johnson and Charles J Quinii of Xew York arrived from Louisville this morning and were tlie guests of Hal Price Headley who re ¬ turned last night from Xew York YorkJames James Gass arrived today from Cuba in advance of a car which is bringing nine horses to the Ken ¬ tucky Association track trackMr Mr and Mrs Phil Chinn will leave here Wednes ¬ day for Baltimore The Kentucky Stable now is at Bowie with the exception of eicht horses which are to be sent from here later in the week
