J K L ROSS BUILDING TRAINING TRACK SARATOGA SPRINGS N Y August 13 Some of the stables that in former years raced at the Maryland tracks wilf confine their operations to the New York courses next fall One of them is the I K L Ross establishment so it is said It is understood that the management of this stable has decided to cut out Havre de Grace but it is more than likely that the entire band of racers under II G Beihvells care will be sent to Laurel to IKirticipate in that meeting The Ross farm is located just back of Laurel and Commander Ross is having built at his own expense on the Wash ¬ ington pike training grounds patterned after that at Newmarket in England Besides a mile and an eighth track the plans call for the erection of rOO stalls and other buildings which go to make up an ideal training course Commander Ross never does anything on a cheap scale and it is presumed that this will be the finest course of its kind in tliis country
