EASTERN STARS INKENTUCKY STAKES SARATOGA SPRINGS, N. Y., August 20. Entries to the Kentucky stakes for next fall were made in liberal style by some of the more pretentious eastern establishments and included many from J. K. L. Ross, Harry Payne Whitney, P. A. Clark, W. J. Starr, M. L. Schwartz, R. E. Watkius, 11. A. Smith, R. A. McKeever and Frank Herod. Practically all the stars of these -stables have been named for the rich prizes that will feature the fall racing in the Blue Grass State.
