ENTRIES FOR QUEBEC KINGS PLATE Ten Eligiblcs to Start in the Race to Be Run at Blue Bonnets Soptembcr 1. MONTREAL, Que., August 27. Entries for the Kings Plate, which, together with the Provincial Nursery, is to be run off at Rlue Ronnets on Labor day, closes on Saturday and ten candidates have been named by seven owners for the race. These horses have been in training all summer in preparation for this contst and this week are getting their final work-outs. Notwithstanding the fact that racing has not been an active factor in the sporting world in Canada for the past two years, the Montreal Jockey Club lias kept its course and plant in good order and the track at most times has been fit to train and work over. All of the Plate candidates are reported to be in splendid condition and from the work announced it would appear , tiiat the race will be an open one.
