LA SALLE, N.Y., RACE TRACK PLANS RlFFALO, N. Y., September 19. The La Salle, X. Y., race track project is still alive, though the original promoters Grant Hugh Rrowne and Col. liughliu are not in sight. II. I. Smith of North Tonowanda. X. Y., one of the owners of the La Salle project land, about 155 acres in extent, and which is near Xiagara Falls on the Ruf falo-Xiagara boulevard, declared 011 Thursday that Xew York men had bought the property and would build the course. A big tractor is on the ground and work is to be started in a few days. The original stock selling campaign among Buffalo folks to finance the track for the Rrowne-I-oughlin coterie was a dismal failure. Smith declares that the establishment is to cost 200,000 and will be finished this year.
