AVon driving; second and third the same. AMERICAN ACE was restrained until reaching the stretch, where lie came fast and held MAJOR PARKE safe through the final sixteenth. MAJOR PARKE ran a good race and finished fast and gamely. COL. TAYLOR set a great pace to the stretch and tired in the last eighth. SOMEWHERE IN FRANCE closed a big gap. LINDEN ran well.
