VIAU MARES TO STAY AT CLAIBORNE "Wilfrid Viau, who recently bought a fine group of brood mares from A. I!. Hancock, says that he will transfer his mares from Ellerslie to Claiborne Farm, which is the name of Mr. Hancocks newly-established stud in Kentucky. Mr. Hancock spends most of Ills time in Kentucky and Mr. Viau believes his mares will be under better surveillance at Claiborne that at Ellerslie. Omar Khay.vam, which is not under Mr. Yinus control, having been leased to Mr. Hancock, will make a couple of seasons at least at Ellerslie. lie is in splendid condition.
