FLITTERG0LD AND MARES TO BE SOLD NEW YORK, N. Y., September 22. Joseph L. Murphy of Philadelphia, who is actively engaged in the business of producing ami marketing oil. has decided to give up the production of thoroughbreds at his farm near Phoenixville. Pa., and he will accordingly sell his stallion, Flittorgohl, and six or seven young mares. Most of his mares are daughters of Superman and King James and they have been mated with Robert .1. Waldens stallion, Transvaal, a son of Commando, that is standing at Bowling Brook Farm in Carroll County, Maryland.
