Won driving; sWond and third the same. EDITH K. raced wide all the way. but closed up gamely in the stretch and outstayed FORECLOSURE in the limit drive. FORECLOSURE set a good pace and raced FLORSAIN into defeat, then withstood SISTER IIELENES challenge, but tired in the closing strides. SISTER HELENE was hard ridden from the start and saved ground on the stretch turn, but tired in the last eighth. FLOItSAIN ran a good half. FLAREUP was in close quarters and ran a game race. PADDY WHACK, after being under slight restraint in the early running, slipped through next to the inner rail on the last turn and, saving much ground, took a long lead and won in a canter. SUNNY-LAND displayed the most early speed and held on gamely in the stretch drive. TIIOS. F. McMAHON moved up rapidly on the outside of the leaders on the stretch turn and, after being forced extremely wide, came again under punishment. WOODTRAP quit after going live-eighths and had no mishaps. TROPHY was not hard ridden. MISS KRUTER ran poorly. Scratched 13989Sasin, 113. Overweights Thos. F. McMahon, 2 pounds.
