Won driving; second and third the same. FIFI II. was outpaced in the early running, but gained steadily, although coming wide, and outstayed BRIG OF WAR at the end. BRIG OF WAR raced into the lead in the stretch, but tired in the final dnve. BLUE PARADISE set a fast pace to the stretcli and tired, but finished gamely. GALLI-CURCI had no mishaps. Won easily; second and third driv ing. BAIGNEUR, well ridden nnd kept well up from the start, raced into the lead after rounding into the stretcli and held SAUER safe through the final eighth. SAUER also ran a good race and "finished gamely. THISTLES BEAU was going well at the end. DUKE OF LATONA came fast in the stretch. TROOPER tired badly In the last quarter after showing the most speed to the stretch. FIRE closed up ground steadily and held on gamely through the stretch. VULCAN ITE showed a high order of speed, but tired after leading for nearly a mile and a half. LEGAL came fast through the last quarter. WICKFORD quit badly after going the first mile. POLKA DOT had no mishaps. The latter ran a good and game race under improved riding and only tired in the last strides. SIREN MAID ran well, but was favored when BUSY SIGNAL came wide On the stretch turn. BUSY SIGNAL set a fast pace and might have won but for bolting on the stretch turn. BREAD MAN ran a good race and suffered from interference when BUSY SIGNAL bolted.
