ADMIRABLE RACING THROUGH WHICH THE TWO-YEAR - OLDS MISS JEMIMA, BONNIE MARY, CONSTANCY AND BLAZES RANK HIGH AMONG THIS YEARS MONEY -WINNING HORSES Four two-year-olds, three fillies and a colt, which have raced well enough to gain inclusion in the list of winners of 0,000 or more, are Miss Jemima, Constancy Bonnie Mary and Blazes, the latter having come into the list through his victory in Ilia Dreeders Futurity at Lexington last Saturday. Of these Miss Jemima has won the most money. When she was taken east last July it was with a record of six races won out of seven starts, including victories in the Spring TrialKtakes at Churchill Downs and the Clipsetta Stakes at Latonia. These excellent Tacing credentials she continued when she won the East View Stakes at Empire City and the Flash Stakes at Saratoga, giving seventeen pounds, her sex allowance, and an easy beating to Wildair in the latter race. Then she trained olt and. after running third to Homely and Constancy in the Schuylerville Stakes, was unplaced in the Tomboy Handicap and Futurity Stakes. She still has valuable engagements and her good record to date is: Miss Jemima, brown filly, by Black Toney "Vaila. Date. Race. Fin. Track. Distance. Time. Value. Both were won in fast time and the filly was hailed as a star. Then Toujours, carrying 104 pounds to her 117, nosed her out in the Rosedale Stakes at Jamaica and some doubt as to her goodness ensued. She then restored herself to favor when she won the Great American Stakes at Aqueduct and ran its five-eighths in 58 with 127 pounds up. Followed much talk about what would happen when she met Miss Jemima, but, like the latter, she seemed to lose some measure of her best form and did not win afterward. Total races seven, three wins, two seconds, no thirds, two unplaced. 5,000 Constancy, English-bred throughout, did not shine brilliantly in her first two races. But she was ripening and began to show her true mettle when she won the Spinaway Stakes at Saratoga in great style and fast time with sixteen nimble -footed lillies bringing up behind her. She then ran second to Homely in the Schuylerville Stakes, with Miss Jemima third, but Homely only carried 107 pounds to 127 each on Constancy and Miss Jemima. Third to Man o War and Cleopatra in the rich Hopeful Stakes was her next exploit. Since then she has experienced but one defeat, and in winning four races witli high weights up has caused many to deem her about the best filly of the year. She won a purse from Arethusa at Belmont Park wit Ii 122 pounds up, a purse at Havre de Grace with 119 up and giving My Laddie thirteen pounds; another purse at the same track, carrying 121 pounds, Azurita, 113, finishing second. In her last race, with 122 pounds on her back, she ran three-quarters in 1:12 and giving the good colt Hobey Baker ten pounds, besides her sex allowance, defeated him by a neck in the first running of the 0,000 Eastern Shore Stakes at Havre de Grace. There is no doubt about her being an extra good one and her present record is: Constancy, lay filly, by Ambaasauor Simcnas Daughter. Date. Race. Fin. Track. Distance. Time. Value.
