CHEAP AMERICAN HORSES FOR FRANCE WASHINGTON, D. C, October 21. The American Expeditionary Force received an average of 200 a head for horses and mules sold in France. Between last November 11 and last August 2, 150,000 horses and mules have been disposed of, the receipts aggregating approximately 0,000,000. Purchasers of these animals include the Polish and Czecho-SIovak governments and French and German citizens. The American Expeditionary Force still has on hand about 27,000 horses and mules, most of which probably will be sold In Europe.
