W. B. JENNINGS THROUGH AS TRAINER NEW YORK, N. Y., October 25. W. B. Jennings announced after Star Masters victory at Empire City today that he was through training horses for good and all. He is going to retire to his ranch at Emeryville, California. He says it is Mr. Macombers intention to send twenty-four mares and the stallions War Cloud and Hojlister to France, where he will embark on an extensive breeding campaign. Hand Grenade and Liberty Loan will go into the stud in California, while Star Master and seven other thoroughbreds will be turned over to Thomas Welch, who will prepare tliem for the 1920 campaign.
