APPLE" JACK II. showed much speed and, racing well up from the start, drew into the lend after passing PORT LIGHT and held LADY LUXURY safe through the last sixteenth. LADY LUXURY saved much ground on the turns and was going gamely at the end. BON TROMP had to race wide most of the way and ran a good race. BLAISE closed a big gap in the last quarter. SAM REH also closed up much ground. SUBAHDAR fan poorly. PORT LIGHT set a fast pace and quit in the stretch.
