ALL READY FOR BOWIE MEETING Princo George Park Crowded with Horses for the Final Maryland Racing of tho Year. BALTIMORE. Md., November 12. The Southern Maryland Agricultural Association will launch the last of the eastern race meetings of the season of 1919 at Prince George Park, Bowie, Maryland, Friday. Racing on the Jockey Clubs circuit ends now where it began, at the newest and most picturesquely situated track in Maryland, which lies midway between Baltimore and Washington on the popular Intcrurban electric-line. A season that has been brilliantly successful from the beginning, both as regards the quality of the sport it has afforded and from the box office point of view, will end brilliantly at Prince George Park. There will be fifteen days of ths sport, and these fifteen days will be marked by the distribution among horsemen of ,500 to. 0,000 each day. Bowies minimum purse this fall will be ,000. The better ones will run from ,500 to ,500. The strongest and most representative stables of the country will take part in the Bowie meeting, and some of the best horses of various ages will race at Prince George Park. Already the track stalls are crowded, and stabling in private establishments for miles about the country is rented. Some of the smaller stables that have been racing in Maryland shipped direct from Laurel Park to Jefferson Park, New Orleans, because of the inability of their proprietors to obtuiu stalls at Prince George Park.
