CUBAN RACING BEGINS NEXTTHURSDAY HAVANA, Cuba, November 22. Oriental Park, the beautiful home of the Cuba-American Jockey and Auto Club, never presented a more pleasing view to the eye than it does now, virtually on the eve -of the forthcoming winter meeting, which is scheduled to open on Thanksgiving day, next Thursday, and continue for 100 or more days. Everything is spick and span at the Marianao course, and all the horses that will take part iu the meeting are on the grounds, with the exception of tho3 now racing at Bowie and which will leave there in a special train immediately at the conclusion of that meeting. All the officials are here, and much interest is being displayed by the Cuban followers of the I I sport, who are anxiously awaiting the opening. Racing secretary Martin Nathanson has arranged an attractive program for Thanksgiving day, witli the Inaugural Handicap of ,500 for all ages at one mile as the principal race of the day. I There will be racing every day at Oriental Park except Mondays, as in previous years, with Sundays as the big feature days. During the holiday season racing will be held every day during the week, including Monday.
