W. J. SALMON STABLE FOR NEXT YEAR NEW YORK, N. Y., December 3. W . J. Salmon will begin the racing season of 1920 with a string of twelve two-year-olds and five three-year-olds. They have gone into winter quarters at the Jamaica track, where trainer Eugene Wayland has them in his care. It is the first time that the Jamaica track has been used as winter quarters, but trainer Wayland has had the stables inclosed and made comfortable for the cold weather. The coming three-year-olds in the stable are Hobey Baker, Eddie Rickenbaeher, Hetty J., Retrieve and My Laddie, while the coming two-year-olds include the following: Brown filly by Wrack Mindful. Bay filly by Wrack Blazing Star. Bay filly by Wrack Sumptuous. Chestnut filly by Ultimus Tripping. Chestnut filly by The Manager Wilful. Hay colt, by Celt Nora Langhorne. Hay colt, by Durbar Parthenus. Chestnut filly by Superman Marjoram. Bay filly by Uncle Fair Catherine. Bay filly by Uncle Waterbelle. Bay colt by Great Britain Tiffany Blend. Chestnut colt by Peter Quince Belle of Ashland. Of these the top priced one is the Ultimus Tripping filly, for which Mr. Salmon paid Miss ElizalKth Daingerfield 1919.sh,000.
