LATEST NEWS FROM BLUE GRASS STATE LEXINGTON, Ky., December 3. John O. Whitlow is preparing to ship to New Orleans, Saturday morning, the two-year-old Mabel G. and seven yearlings. In the car with these will go Opportunity and two others belonging to William Wood-ard. Mode Nicoll has purchased from Major P. P. Johnson the two-year-old bay or brown colt. General Cadoma. by Textile Wyf, by Miller, which was broken and trained about forty days by T. L. Pierce. G. L. Blackford of Denisen, Texas, is to be here for the sale Friday. He is in quest of young mares for the replenishment of his breeding establishment.
