LATEST METROPOLITAN TURF GOSSIP NEW YORK, N. Y. December 3. A. Gascoyne will take five horses to Havana tomorrow.- They consist of three yearlings and the two two-year-olds Picker and Stealer and Pleasure Picture. Neither has started. They are products of the Rancocas Stock Farm. The improvements at Empire City trade will bo many before next spring. The new main entrance is going to be widened so that seven automobiles can be driven in at the same time. James Butlers yearlings are all at Empire City, in charge of trainer Flannigan. They are all homebred, chiefly bv Pebbles and Fair Count and one the last of the get of the good stallion Out of Reach. Stallions that will be in service at Mr. Butlers Kastview Farm next soring will be Pebbles, Fair Count, Spur and High Noon. J. Simon Ucaly, who has charge of Mr. Kilmers horses at Sun Briar Court, Hinghamton, N. V.. was in the city today expecting the arrival of Sweet Briar, the dam of Sun Briar, purchased some time ago by Mr. W. S. Kilmer. She will be added to the matrons in Mr. Kilmers breeding establishment.
