LATEST NEWS FROM BLUE GRASS STATE LEXINGTON, Ky., December 23. William A. Shea, en route from New York to New Orleans to spend the remainder of the winter, stopped off here to see his stallion Tea Caddy, a son of Rock Sand and Teas Over, and his mares Blue Grass Belle, Torque. Flying Cinders and Yverte at John S. Bar-bees Glen Helen Stud. Shea today declined a good offer for Tea Caddy, saying that he had determined to make a public season with him an would carry out his original plans. Robert H. Shannon has purchased from Mrs. Elizabetli M. Schreiber the thoroughbred horses Duke of Lntoua, Leo L. and Ticacey. Edward H. Garrison, unable to secure a car in which to ship Rouleau. Berkholt and Black Hackle to Hot Springs, departed yesterday for the Arkansas Spa witli the expectation that he will be able to get these horses -there after the holidays.
