Won easily; second and third driving. PEACEFUL STAR raced into an easy lead soon after the start and was under restraint all the way. PRINCE DIRECT began slowly and, working his way up on the outside, came wide when entering the stretch, then came fast, but tired and swerved to the inside rail in the last eighth. TIMOTHY J. The latter hung on gamely after getting to the leader at the sixteenth post and almost got up to win. FAIRLY ran well. LADY JANE GREY tired badly in the homestretch.
