INCREASE IN SARATOGAS PURSES NEW VOHK. N. V.. March S. An increase in the overnight purses to be given by the Saratoga Association is probable. An announcement by president P. T. Wil-on states; "The changes in the stakes to be run at the summer meeting at Saratoga this year will greatly increase the cost to the â– aaaeiathn. In addition to raising the value of the stakes, the association is contemplating increasing its overnight purse-, if it can be consistently done. However, if there should be any decrease in the at tenilanci . the association will not be in a position to increase the money now-added to its overnight races."
