DEVONSHIRE MEETING TO OPEN JULY 3 Bradley Wilson has been at Latonia for some time conferring with his associates in the Devonshire track and horsemen in regard to shipping to the Canadian track near Windsor for the meeting which is in ¬ tended there beginning July 3 to 10 inclusive Racing secretary N M MacFarlane has now in course of preparation the book of the meeting which will in addition to no race of less value than 1200 embody three stake races The lead ¬ ing cue will lie a mile and a quarter dash for threeyearold1 and over with 5000 added A race of 3000 added is for threeyearolds exclusively at a mile and a sixteenth and a dash at five eighths f6r twoyearolds with 3000 added com ¬ pletes the stake races
