QUEER INCIDENT IN FRENCH RACING When Troytown after falling at an open ditch at Atitenil on July 1 struggled to his feet and limped painfully a few yards before collapsing a wave of sympathy passed over the great crowd For the pain which the horse was suffering was obvious It was afterward shot One showily dressed French ¬ woman however clapped her hands loudly crying Bravo Its the English one thats beaten A burst of angry hisses and cries from her compatriots quickly drowned her voice
