LITTLE BOY CASE IN COURT OTTAAVA Out July 1C Judge McDougall in the Hull Superior Court has reserved judgment in the case of Fred Bamford of Detroit against the Connaught Park Jockey Club and Fred Joureaux collector of customs for the port of Ottawa This action follows the sensational case at Connaught 1ark on Monday June 21 wlnn a horse running as Little Boy but alleged to be a ringer won tiie fourth race E F Moore who was in the jockey clubs books as tho owner Staff Doyle his trainer E Farrington of Detroit and J Richings of Detroit were all expelled from Con naught Park and denied the privileges of all Canadian jockey club tracks subsequent to the race it being alleged that they had painted the horse which ran here to resemble Little Boy BoyTuesday Tuesday morning Fred Barmord of Detroit produced a bill of sale from E F Moore stating that hi had bought the horse Littls Hoy from Mooro at Detroit on July 1 He demanded that this thoroughbred be turned over to him himPaul Paul Loduc representing the Connaught Park Jockey Club produced an affidavit from the sec ¬ retary of the club giving his reason for holding Little Boy It is stated that the horse had been dyed and that the stewards of the Canadian Rac ¬ ing Associations to whom Moore admitted that Uc UW UOt own tlie horse hart ordered his coHlisca tlon pending action ngainst Moore who imme ¬ diately disappeared disappearedIt It was decided to have experts place a valuation on the horse Bamfords bill of sale places it at 1000 while jockey club officials say thu animal was vurtu lQQQ 111
