Won driving; second and third the same. FLUFF set a great pace and won all the way, but tired and was hard ridden at the finish. CUBANITA saved ground when entering the homestretch and was gaining on the leaders in the closing strides. BIT OF GREEN raced forwardly und tired in the final drive, hut held the others safe for third place. GALIOT tired after going well for a half mile. CELIAA was shuttled back out of contention soon after the start. AAon easily; second and third driving. ROBERT OLIAER followed the others for the lirst turn of the field, then gradually improved his position when called on and, taking an easy lead, held DORCRIS safe at the end. The latter was hard ridden and was much used in forcing the-pace for the entire race, but held on resolutely. JAY BIRD displayed the most speed- to the sixteenth fence, when lie made a poor landing and was not persevered with afterward. BUSY SIGNAL, vigorously ridden from the., start, c-iime wjde on Hie last turn, but closed up fast in the stretch mid was gdirig fast in the closing ytriiies. LliNETTA, prominent throughout, was knocked to the inside in the homestretch and finished Well. GLORIA FRANCE ran well and was on the outside all the way. TAILOR MAID was taken back -in the early running, then slipped through next to the inner rail on the turn out of the backstrctch and, taking the lead, held on gamely in the final drive. LEOCHARES moved tip fast on the outside of the leaders in the. first half mile into a forward position, then came fast in the stretch and just failed to get lip. UNDER FIRE saved ground on tlie. turns and was a fast going third. ROYCE ROOLS showed improvement and appears to be lit. FIZER quit badly in the hist quarter. SMART GUY was a prominent contender throughout and made a game challenge in the homestretch, but tired finally. TATTLE was under slight restraint in the early running and saved ground on Jill the turns, but tired in the closing strides. RALCO raced gamely. THE LAMB was gaining fast in, the closing strides.
