GENERAL NEWS NOTES OF THE DAY James ONeill, the actor, died at the Lawrence Memorial Associated Hospital at New London, Conn., yesterday. lie had been ill for two months at the hospital, suffering from an internal disorder. His wife and sons were at the bedside. He was 73 years of age. James ONeill, one of the most noted and versatile actors of the American stage in his time, and one of the few exponents of the old school who adapted themselves to modern conditions, was born in Ireland October 14, 1S-17. He came to America in 1850 and spent his childhood days in Buffalo.
