Won handily; second and third driving. POP EYES, after racing in close pursuit of the leaders to the stretch, took the lead when straightened out and won going away. FIRST PULLET was a forward contender throughout, but was ridden out to outstay CLARK M. The latter finished fast on the inside. HARP OF THE NORTH ran well and finished resolutely. SEA BOARD "ran" away almost a quarter while en route to the post and ran poorly in the race. The latter raced on the outside most of the way and finished fast and gamely. KING JOHN set a good pace and only relinquished the lead in the last sixteenth. BREEZE set a fast pace from the start and, after having raced WYNNEWOOD into defeat, hed on gamely. DODGE ran well and finished resolutely under hard riding. .
