Won driving; second and third the same. GLASTOI was away slowly, but moved up rapidly when straightened out in the stretch and outstayed BABY CAL in the final drive. The latter forced the pace to the turn for home, then took the lead, but tired in the final sixteenth. WENONAH ran a good race and finished gamely. Won easily; second and third driving. ALF VEZINA steadily improved his position and, coming on the outside of the leaders in the stretch, was going away at the end. FINANCIAL ROOSTER also closed up fast in the stretch and finished gamely. AVA R. raced in close pursuit of the pacemaker throughout and hung on well. PAROL ran well and finished close up. GORHAM showed a high flight of early speed in paccmaking, but tired slightly in the stretch. TOM LOGAN ran away one mile before the start. WAR ZONE came around the leaders When Hearing the stretch turn and. taking the lead, retained his advantage to the end, although doing his best to outstay LORD HERBERT. The latter was cut off on the far turn and was closing up fast in the final eighth, when his rider lost a stirrup iron. VULCANITE loomed up dangerously when entering the stretch, but tired in the final drive. MADGE F. was much used in chasing SUMMER SIGH and tired.
