MICHAEL, under hard riding for the entire race, made a game finish, but tired after getting to the leader in the final sixteenth. TEDDY R. met with interference in the early running and came fast and gamely when clear in the last quarter. TOUT OR displayed early speed and quit as if short. Scratched 497503Atala, 112; 49037 P. AUDACIOUS saved ground on the turns and made a. game effort in the stretch run, but was tiring in the closing strides. MAD HATTER raced on the outside all the way and, responding gamely when ca lied on in the last sixteenth, would have been third in another stride.
