ON TRAIL OF LOST FAIR AND WARMER MONTREAL, Quebec, September 16. J. S. What-ley is hot on the trail of the mare Fair and Warmer, which was stolen from his stable at the 1lue Bonnets track some time Tuesday night. A postman in the Snowden Junction section gave cut the information that he saw a colored man leading a chestnut mare down the road from the Blue Bonnets track early Wednesday morning. AVhatley is satisfied that this was his mare and local detectives are following up the clue.
