DORCAS saved ground when entering the homestretch and finished close up. NATURAL BRIDGE met with interference and was shuffled back on the last turn. CRYSTAI FORD and NIGHTSTICK tired badly. ELMER JOHNSON displayed the most speed for the first turn of the field, but ran out on a turn in the last time around and lost much ground and also stumbled .badly at the fourteenth jump. AUDACIOUS raced next to the inner rail all the way and outstayed PANOPLY in the. stretch driye. PANOPLY tired after running a fast half mile. AAEDDING CAKE was outpaced.
