Won easily: second and third driving. RAPID DAY was restrained until in the last quarter, then rushed into the lead and won easing up. TROILUS raced forwardly from the start and drew away from COL, TAYLOR in the last sixteenth. The hitter showed the most early speed and set a great pace, but tired after reaching the homestretch.
